I have a 2005 fordf-250 6.0L 4x4, I am going to put some sort of exhaust on it but I am looking for a certain sound I would like to have alot of whistle instead of a glasspack sound, So if some one could send me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the boards. Since you have a diesel, I'd suggest askin the guys down in the diesel forum, but I just checked and you've already covered all the bases. Welcome again! You'll get good answers here

Thread moved to 6.0L section.
On a 6.0, remove the muffler and you'll have lots of whistle down low, and then in the higher rpms it will sound like a big block gasser. It will sound good, though. Any of the site sponsors can get you a system... popular choice is MBRP. If you really want the whistle though, delete the muffler.

Caution,
Give us a call we are MBRP's largest distributor and can help you with the exhaust system. The 2003 and early 2004's will have the best whistle, the late 2004/05's have a revised turbo wheel and won't whistle as much but they still sound really nice when you flat foot it. A nice deep rumble and turbo whistle etc. Call us we'll be glad to help.
