'96 A/C replacement NEED HELP

I have replaced the compressor and accumulator, but I can't seem to find where the Orifice Tube goes???? It looks like it goes in line on the high pressure side of the Evaporator, but I can't figure out how to get the line apart. Does the line have to be replaced in order to change it out? How neccessary is it to change it out? What about installing a line drier? Thanks

Sounds like you have found where the orifice tube goes. I don't know what it is called but a special tool is required to disconnect the line. It is the same type of tool needed to remove Ford fuel filters. I bought a set of plastic ones from Napa that work pretty well. Tell your favorite parts house and they can supply what you need.
