at 61k miles I would pull it apart and look at it if you are doing the labor. It took me 2 hours to pull the trans/t-case when my TOB went out. at 127k miles the clutch looked decent enough to get some more use out of for no longer than it took me to fix it. My ex-gf was cleaning the house and threw my old one away, the metal face was still fine, but the plastic was melted and the bearings were in the bellhousing. At the time money was tight enough that I didn't want to drop big bucks on a LUK, but wanted something better than stock, but it looked alright and has gone another 10k miles since. All you are out is your labor, it you pull it apart and it looks decent, you could run it for a while, I would figure the stocker will be good for more than 60k. Just my .02. Also, when going back together, don't be an idiot like me and forget to put the crossmember back in before putting the front driveline in, and then screw the bolts up for the u-joint straps on the front yoke. Just tryin to save some headache.

What have any of you guys put in for a replacement clutch, are there any out there you would recommend for my truck, I do heavy towing a few times a month, but mainly my daily driver and some offroading.
