Was surfing the net and came across this web site that sells a Power steering conversion kit for 67-72 Fords. Kind of pricey but,. Someone here was asking about these kits so I hope this helps. To answer yer question,..no,...I don't work for these folks. Enjoy. [http://www.jobriteauto.com/accessories_suspension.htm#power_st_conv]

Any good wrecking yard with a set of Hollander Manuals can tell what year parts are interchangable. There is a wide range of years that interchange. You will need , PS Gear, PS Pump, mounting brackets, Lines, cooler, Pitman Arm, Steering Shaft or shorten yours. Sure makes it nice.
Rather than start a new thread.... I've located all the power steering parts off a '71 F150 2x4. I'm retro-fitting the conversion to a '68 F250 4x4. My question is this: will everything up to the steering gear box from the 2x4 work on the 4x4? And is there/was there much of a difference between the strength of the two power steering units (1/2 ton 2wd vs. 3/4 ton 4wd). I realize I will have to find tie rods and pitman arm from a 4x4 to make this complete. Thanks!
