I knew were the value was, but i wasnt sure if i could use a screwdriver on it or not. Though the thought did cross my mind. thanks 94XL .........B4, I have to use jack stands, otherwise no way I can slide under my truck. I jack one side up, slide one jack stand in, repeat on the other side. Having more clearance helps with tool movement.

changed fuel filter couple of weeks ago. What a pain in the butt. to my surprise and shock the Ford Dealership that changed my fuel filter put it on the Wrong way!!!. The flow arrow was pointing to the gas tank, not to the front of the engine. No wonder I had such a difficult time getting that sucker off. Never again will I take my truck to the Ford dealership for repairs. I knew there was some reason why I was getting such terrible MPG. After changing the fuel filter, EGR value and sensor, and O2 sensor, noticing better MPG. So after spending just 160 bucks on parts ,my own labor, and a few beers maybe I am getting 2-3 miles more MPG which puts me back into the 14-15mpg in the city. Which is pretty damn good for a Bronco. I havent tested it on a road trip yet,but it seems the engine is running ALOT smoother now. Thanks for the help.

We are all glad to hear every thing worked out good for you.

Make sure to change out the (transmission, rear axle, and transfer case) fluids and PCV valve regularly.

An easier way to de-pressurize the fuel system is to disconnect the inertia switch just ahead of the brake pedal in the cab. Then fire it up and let it die. Then try and start it again. Once you've done that - there is no pressure left to speak off. It's what my haynes recommends.
