2006 Axle Codes
Just got a new 2006 F-150 4X4. I'm pretty sure I have a 3.73 rear axle ratio, but I'm not sure if it is the limited slip or the non-limited slip. I believe my axle code is 26. Anybody know what this means?

Found info a while back on how to interpret the door jam sticker, not sure which forum but thanks to the original the poster.
My 06 FX4 has a 3.73 LS per original window sticker and code on door jam sticker is B6. I think 26 may be the non-LS.

Here are a few codes:
19 – 3.55 Non-LS
18 – 3.08 Non-LS
H9 – 3.55 LS
B6 – 3.73 LS

my post appears to have been altered. please ignore the "#9 above should be the axle code " statement. it was a reference to a deleted diagram of the info on your door jam sticker. they forgot to alter that as well.
