Help with color
I'm having trouble finding paint for my '78 F250. It is the original paint and the code is "P7". It is a two tone. The store says that there is no such code. The color on the original window sticker is "Cinnamon Color Glow and Tan". The paint stores say they can't find a Cinnamon for 1978. It is a Medium Brown Metallic color with Tan inside the racetrack. I've tried a couple different stores and tried to look it up online with no luck. I posted in the Paint & Bodywork forum, but no replies. I thought maybe another '78 owner has one this color and could help. Thanks.

The book refers for 78's to code P as Dark Nectarine Poly.
Ditzler Paint code =2931
Code 7 is Tan
Ditzler Paint code 3057.
I do know they had a Cinnamon Glow paint.
I'll keep looking for the code

Thanks. From what i'm seeing Dark Nectarine Glow and Cinnamon Glow are the same colors. All of the Ford literature says Cinnamon Glow and all of the PPG 1978 Ford Truck Color Catalogs say Dark Nectarine Glow. I never thought nectarines and cinnamon were the same color, though. Actually, it looks like a brown metallic. I guess i'll find out when I get the paint.
