E250 vs F250 rear spring pad difference.

Probably not. I'm pretty sure all the Vans had widder sping pad mounting distance due to the high center of gravity (helps control roll). When I swapped the mid 80's Van rear end into my '78, I had to move the mounts in something like 3.5" each side.

alright good to know. I have a guy who will give me the D60 if I take it out. Its a very good deal and Im not going to pass it up, especially since I have a tote torch, but I was hoping it would swap in. Are the axle shafts the same length?

They could be. There are various lenghts of shafts throughout the years. For a similar year axle from a similar year/model vehicle, the axleshafts should be the same length and spline count.
