Keyless entry problems
I have a 97 Mountaineer that has an intermittent problem with the keyless entry system. Specifically I have two key fobs both with new batteries. When one works they both work, when on stops working they both stop working. Neither the Haynes or Chilton manuals say anything about the keyless entry system. Any suggestions on where to look or what to try to troubleshoot this problem?

Wish I could help, but. . . . I have a problem of my own....My 1996 Ford Explorer Limited with keyless entry....keyless just quit. Thought solution was new batteries.. uh uh. . . Whomever out there!! Help us both??!??
