Question re: epay rear disk kit for D60

Anyone bought and installed the rear disc kit that is frequently on epay? It iis the one that has eldorado calipers.

I'm curious how much improvement I'd see in stopping power. Any issue with brake distribution, etc?

My 72 F250 stops on a dime today, so I'm not sure if it'ss worth the 5 c-notes.

If your F250 already has front disks then I doubt it's worth the money. Your money would be better spent making it power brakes (if not equipped)

And if your F250 doesn't have front disks then I surely wouldn't put disks on the back with drums up front.

Ford had the disk/front drum/rear combo for 30 some years, and it worked well there's something to be said about that.

The kit looks pretty nice.

It's an ok system, you'll need an adjustable proportioning valve, though.

more info

I have power brakes and front disks (with the big dual piston setup). They work great but I do tow with the truck.

The stock setup really works great. I'm just looking at options to have a little more braking power in reserve, should I need it.

I bought a kit that was complete with seals and it bolted right up and looks really nice. I only paid $300 for mine. Haven't had it on the road yet, still much more to put back together before it's roadworthy. I haven't measured, but it looks like the rear tires are sucked in a bit more than with the big drums.

...forgot that the $500 kit includes the e-brake connection. I use a transfer case e-brake from high angle driveline, so no need for the other kit.
