I got my Series 50 Deltas on Fri. nite. We drove around a little after. Very little resonance and a mellow, sweet tone to them. 2 1/2" pipes, new Ford cast iron manifolds..

Glasspacks Forever!!!!

He's right, because the big states have noise limits. California is one. But Nevada is not and I have nice glass packs on my 80 Olds with headers and 2" pipes to the rear (No cats, they seem to have disappeared) No smog testing in the 15 counties other than the counties for Reno and Vegas.....

My 01 Silverado is missing the Dual Stock Muffler and has two Glasspacks and twin tips on the right side. (being a 4 x 4 the gas tankand spare tire are in the way for a pipe on each side)......

The new '56 Flatbed I'm building will use headers on a 351W, 2" collectors and two Glasspacks and tailpipes over the axle to cut cab noise. They will be headed straight out, not to the side with straight cut tips.

My 78 CJ7 has over the frame headers on its 304 AMC V8 and flowmasters. When they go it will get GlassPacks...........

Alanco

Well thanks guys I got my exhaust I went with the 40 series Flowmasters that were already on the truck. I put a H pipe after the tranny and after the mufflers went down right over the rear end. The pipes are at 45 degrees. They actually go at the same angle as the shocks. The great thing is you cant even see the pipes. The manager of the muffler shop said that it reminded him of the old hot-rod look of the 60's. Thanks or all of your in put. I will have pictures hopefully to add to my gallery soon with one of the exhaust. -Andy
