are header's a pain?
I want to put headers on my '67 when I get the 302 in there. Are leaks a problem anymore if you use quality "dead-soft" aluminum gaskets and the new "Stage-8" locking header bolts? Has anybody ever had clearance problems with headers on a 302/C-6 combo? I wouldn't think so, cause it looks like there will be plenty of room in the engine compartment. Will clearance be a problem for the headers if I switch to a 351w down the road?

Matt, the key to getting a problem free set of headers is to buy the good quality ones. The least exspensive pipes usually have the most problems. If you get them from Stan's or Sanderson's you will be fine, I have never heard a complaint about either of them. They are more money but worth it. DF
