Hi from Australia

Fairford in Tasmania has an 06 Brazil Diesel CC F250. There's three more around at various dealers but that's it. I see many asking for more on used ones than the new ones - go figure!
Otherwise it's www.vdc.com.au if you want a real truck versus cheaply made rubbish.

Oh, put it down to the drugs as I have the flu. Reading my last post now I wish I could edit it but what I was getting at was the fact that the Brazilian trucks have a cheap interior and the quality can vary a lot from truck to truck. The cheap comment relates to the equipment levels you get for what is an expensive machine. Hope I didn't offend anyone..... (kind of glad no one beat me to it before I got back to this post)

The Hawks in the Finals, you mean those guys who run around in the pee yellow and poop brown footy jumpers
!!
Check out www.afl.com.au for your footy fix
Good luck with your truck Matt, I love my county (Oz), but I had to move to the good ol USA so I could actually afford one!! Theres no way my good wife would let me drive the equivalent to a house payment around (you must be single)!!
I second everyone else's opinion about this site - awesome.

Welcome.
I'm curious .... what is the situation with the price of gasoline down under?
Have you had huge price increases in the past 1 or 2 or 3 years?
My gasoline on the east coast of America has gone up about 250% in 3 years or so. I spend 100 American dollars to fill my 2002 F250's gas tank. And things should be getting worse soon because of the situation in Lebanon and oil speculators.
Where does Australia get most of its oil from?
Jim

Hey Jim,
Talking to my folks the other day (In South Australia), they said they are paying $1.37 per litre, which is slightly less than $6.00 per gallon (roughly - dont jump on me, my calculators in the truck!!)
Like the USA, Australia produces some of its own oil, and imports the rest. I hate too think what it will cost Matt to fill up his new truck, probably about AU$200.00

We actually link our fuel prices to Singapore TAPPAS crude so we're a bit worse off. But yes, our prices have gone crazy. STill, have a look at history and you will see that relative to wages/salaries fuel is cheaper now than in the 70s and 80s. We just feel it more because it was cheap for a long time. I spend over USD76 filling a 19 gallon tank!
