Just off the top of my head what about 4130 tube in 1 3/4" or 2" by .120" wall thickness. Diameter and wall thickness changes to your build. You building a drop front end, wider stance or just want to be different?

Want to drop the nose (and the tail but thats easy) and want to practice my fabrication skills, thought about wider but probably stay with stock width.
Not slamming it, probably just a 3/4 drop (going to have a triangulated 4-link in the rear), and I'm going to do all the work myself.
Years ago I cut and added a longer section of beam at the pivot end to get a wider stance, talking only 1 5/8" plus bent beams for camber correction. It allowed 9.50's to have the same stance as 12.00's in the rear. Four bar triangle rear, the best way to go for a street vehicle.
Check into the company that sells lowering beams for construction ideas and build your own to how low you want to go.
I bet custom beams would reduce front end weight by 80 pounds over factory beams.
