SES light question

So today going up a hill I passed a slower truck going from about 55 to about 80mph with the DP chip in the 80 econo setting. My boost guage got to about 30PSI. I looked at the dash and the SES light was on??? I have installed the MAP regulator and I thought this was supposed to keep that from happening? Should I adjust the regulator or is there something else I should check? Unfortunately I don't have a code reader yet so I will try and have someone read the code in the next day or 2 so I know but wondered what else might have caused it.

i could bet you that the code you will pull is p1211. P1211 ICP Not Controllable - Pressure Abow/Below Desired

hungry injectors needed for more power to pass that truck need more oil flow to them. my hypothesis is that the HPOP could not keep up with the injectors, and the rail pressure dropped low enough to set the code. this is around 1800 psi if i remember correctly. nothing harmful done, its just that youre not using the injectors to their full potential. time to do what Jeremy did.

So by just using the DP econo tune from Jody I am not using the stock injectors to their full potential! That is incredible!!! I hope someday that I get a chance to ride in a 7.3 that has big oil, fuel mods, and big injectors just to see what a difference that will make! I have showed a few of my friends what these 7.3's can do with a few mods ans a chip and they can't believe that a truck that heavy can get up and go like it does now. All I do is grin and tell them I will be more than helpfull when the they buy one to mod theirs as well.

What will happen when I try the race mode setting? The econo is so fun I have not yet gone to the race setting.
