Tranny over temp O/D light flashing
I know I am dumb ***!!
I was pulling my 9000lb camper up a mountain on dirt road at 25mph. I usually put the mule in 4low to keep tranny temp down but this road was so long I was hoping to get up to 35 mph. Never happened.
I have no gauges but now I will get them soon. Any recomendations on were to buy them cause I mean real soon. Also tranny fluid cooler
Anyway my O/D on off light was blinking. Man I knew it was my tranny. I just read the codes and P1783 tran over temp condition is what I read. The light could have been blinking for 10 minutes before I noticed.
? At what temp does the light start blinking?
Did tranny get hot enough to fry more then the fluid?
I pull the camper alot in the mountains long steep slow roads roads so I would venture to say a big after market cooler is needed.

I just serched about ten of your sponsors and could not find a tranny cooloer. Of course I am half shot in the *** . Just tell me a who has a good one and it might save me some time and beer. thanks Steve
