Chris, I have had four of the shots in my neck. After the docs fused and plated C5, C6 and C6, C7. Also had a series of shot to deaded the facet joints. I will never do the facet joints again. These were done about 2 weeks after elbow surgery. All from a car wreck in Dec 2001. First neck surgery was May 2002, second March 2004 and elbow was March 2006. I now live in pain and the Docs say they can't do anymore. I have about 40% use of my left arm.
The shots didn't do anything for me. I was sedated when I got them. The second set the Doctor had to try it nine times before getting the correct spot. My neck is very thick. You could count the holes in it. I would never do them again.
