Just got done putting the paint on my new bed, and after wrestling the old bed rail caps off, I would like to put on some diamond plate ones, or find a good deal on some old takeoffs. The diamond plate ones seem hard to find.
Anybody have any good leads?
I am thinking about thos rails, the look good, but isn't the Ford OEM bedrail tapered from front to rear
Do the aftermarket ones follow the same, or are they just caps that go over the factory rails?
anybody with aftermarket, please post pics!
I now have a bedcover over the rails so this is the best photo I have of the bed rails. You can put them over the plastic OEM that comes from the factory.
I have factory ford accessory aluminum diamond tread bed rail caps which are made by dee zee and go on top of the plastic caps. They are very attractive and durable. I think the stainless smooth ones would only look good till a few scratches eventually happen.
