Door Locks

My power door locks are sticking on my 2000 F150. They will not open with the remote and I have sprayed WD-40 in the locks to no avail. Is there an easy fix?

Do they work properly with the switch on the door? If so then
I'd check/replace the remote battery. Do you have a second remote you can try?

Thank you for responding. I have changed the batteries in the remote and it is okay. You can hear the door locks trying to open, but they seem to be stuck.

sounds like the actuators are just starting to go bad, you will probably have to replace them to get them working right again. discountfordpart is offering you a good price if that includes shipping, regular $60 at dealership.

Try removing door panels and lubing latches and linkages and all moving parts with some good lubricant(not wd-40) like spray white grease or simular. Be very careful with door panels if you have not removed before-remove all visible screws and then lift up and out-do not pry. Good luck, let us know what you find.
