buzzing behind dash driving me nuts

My truck is an earlly 99 F250 PSD

I have a buzzing sound behind the dash area near the climate controls, and airbag switch. It is intermitent but has been getting worse as time goes by. It sounds like a relay clicking on and off really fast but its not a clicking noise

My airbag light is on if it matters.

The climate controls work normally.

Any ideas?

its your multy function switch (signal light lever). I had same problem with my 2001 f350 psd. I went to ford they put in a new one, problem gone! If your machanicly inclined i would sugest doing it your self. I watched them put it in. it's was prety easy, i could have done it myself. it didn't take quite an our 45min

U2 !! I have a buzzing sound while in gear stopped at idle ! Local indy said it was coming from the the hydo booster for the brakes. I can't believe that! I saw nothing in the drawings for the booster that had anything that would buzz like that!! That is my only remaining bug to fig out! But is truly drivin me nuts to!!! I have to get me another set of ears to go diving under the dash while I hold the right RPM ! Sounds like a loose piece of plastic buzzin against sumthin!

your (signal light lever) on the steering column, left side, you use it to make left & right turns at the cold beer&wine store! your winshield wipers are on the same lever.

FYI. I just replaced my MFS. Was about $106 with tax from Ford. Need a phillips screwdriver and a T-20 trox to change it. Took about 15 minutes.

Well I found my buzz!! I broke down and went down to see my small local dealer. Seems that one of the brake lines by the master cyl was just touching the body! The guy just pulled on the right one and no more buzzin!!!
