First make sure tha "auto lamp" switch is turned off if you have it. It will be to the far right of your headlight switch, one of the "wheels". The sensor for it can get dirty or covered by something and it will always think it's dark out, it also has sensitivity adjustment thru the ****. The sensor is in the middle-top of the dash (tiny grill).

headlights
Thats correct my tail dont work at all after starting the truck.
headlights work correctly before the motor is started.
Once the motor is started
(as soon as the light switch goes to parking light position,
which is the position on the light switch before lights.)
The headlights come on and parking lights and taillights due not come on.
Thank You

Check all fuses(of couse) and any connectors under dash that may have been up-plugged by dealer. This sounds like a possible relay problem but is probably due to something the technician did at the shop. It is common for them to tell you that it couldn't be related but the fact is you never had this problem before you took it to them. Try calling back and talking to service manager about this. Be firm but curtious. Don't let them shuffle you out the door. If it comes to it, demand they at least take a second look at the work they did and see if could be related. At worst you will waste some of your time. Good luck!
