I just about have my 79 F-100 how I want so I think it is time to turn my attention back to a long overdue project. Looking thru this site has helped me refresh my interest in the EB's. The list of parts I have sitting, collecting dust, will probably make most of you sick. I have had a complete fiberglass body since before 2000, I am using a real nice V8 frame from a 70, Disk front and big bearing rear from a 77, power steering and brakes also, 2 complete auto tranny setups from a 76 and 77, all the parts for the 351W swap, and on and on...
Wondering about your thoughts on a couple of things.

1. AOD swap good or bad? (I have an AOD out of an 87 Crown Vic and am considering the Advanced Adapters kit from JEFFS)

2. Fuel Injection? How hard is it to tranplant a 351W with EFI into an EB keeping in mind i already have to wire the entire truck anyway.

3. Also any suggestions on best donor vehicles for that 351W?

...I also already have a 2 1/2 inch lift and will use a one inch body lift. I have a set of American Racing 15x10s and I plan to wrap with 33x12.50 BFGs. I will be building a full cage and tube bumpers and am leaning toward soft top and soft doors with inserts.

I plan to use this truck for alot of things including alot of road use, some trail running, light sand dune duty(don't want to sandblast that fiberglass body away)
