Question cam sensor

i have a 1997 f350 i replace the the low fuel pressure pump and replace the glow plug relay and put new glow plugs in and its holding 40 psi on the fuel regulator.. and i drove it all weekend and it done fine . i was on my way to work last night and it just shut down.started right up this morining and ran for about 5 min and it shut off again,could it be the cam sensor ,or if anyone has any other ideas .... please let me know...

Cam sensor sounds like a strong possibility....especially if you are not getting a tach signal while cranking.

My 01 did the same thing. It was the CPS. I carry a spare one in all my PSDs, with a 10 mm socket in the glove box. The first time I had one go bad I was in the middle of no where with no parts. I was lucky. Somebody else on the job had a spare one.
