help with this...

I have a 2001 explorer sport 2 door. i am buying a flowmaster muffler for it, in which case i need to find out the inlet and outlet sizes which i dont know what to measure. COuld someone please tell me the measurements if you have a truck like this or how to measure this i would appreciate it. Thanks!

1. Have a tape measure handy
2. Get under the passenger side and locate the muffler.
3. Measure the exhaust pipe anywhere between the catalytic converter and muffler.

An eyeball guess with the tape measure should get you the thickness of the pipe.

Wrap a string around the pipe and measure it's length then divide it by pie... 3.14.....
