Steering Column interchange
Gathered from one of the earlier posts that a 78-79 Tilt column from a Ford truck fits a 1971 Ford truck with no modification other than decipering the wiring harness. Is this true...has anyone here done it? Are there any more years that work also?

Steering Column interchange
I don't have experience with pre-67's like John but I did bolt one in a 68 merc short stepside a few years ago. Power steering is necessary for this to work and fortunately boxes from 68-79 will fit.
