did you test to make sure it was getting power first? I just finished fixing all the wires on my passenger rear door yesterday..they were almost broke in half and were grounding out on the door, causing a short in the system only allowing me to only roll the window down. Now With the door wide open it wouldnt work at all because it pulled the wires apart, closed door would put them back together but still ground out on the door.

The motor uses a power and ground (naturally I know). There is a clip in the harness going to the motor. Rolling the window up will send the yellow wire (i think) power and the red one will be ground. Rolling it down will switch the power and ground to reverse the circuit, hence the motor going opposite direction due to current flowing opposite direction. So get 2 pieces of wire, find a power source in the window circuit hook up a power and a ground and test to see if your motor works before tearing it apart and/or buying a new one.

or with a test light, test to see if your even getting power to the motor....I looked at mine, and the whole window system looks riveted in and i really didnt want to dive into drilling out rivets to pull the motor to see if it worked, you can do it with everything inside the door still.

I did check to see if its getting power. I pulled drivers switch *** and getting power past switch, then checked pass. side and getting power past switch, then pulled panel and check for power at plug for motor and getting power there also. The motor makes a ticking noise when pressed in the up position but nothing at all for the down position.
thanks

the best thing to do to determine wether its the circuit or the motor is to disconnect the motor from the circuit and run a power and ground from another source where your 110% sure youve got power and ground to the motor. If nothing happens at that point its your motor, and I cant help you any further sorry. lol

Buy the motor assembly from NAPA, Autozone, Advanced, etc. Drill out the rivits, and replace them with short 1/4" bolts with washers when you install the new motor. Not that hard of a job, just time consuming. You'll be glad you did it. It's nice to have working windows.

I agree . Noty that hard to do. The motor is bolted to the lift arm assy.
