2002 Windstar SEL with rear power sliding doors:
Drivers side power sliding door lock has been operating intermittently for two weeks. Now the door is stuck in the open position. Door lock will not function and I can't manually close the door. I'm/It's stuck. Help!

Forgot to mention:
As per the Ford Vehicle Winstar manual, it instructs to remove (for 30 seconds) fuse #6 and retest. Still doesn't function.

 

So the latch is stuck? What happens when you remove the fuse? You may just need a new latch assembly which should be easily attainable at your local junk yard.
