Advice for new owner
The truck doesn't have a keyless entry. Any advice on installing one?
Also, I noticed that the A/C isn't real cold. Is that normal?
Any advice appreciated!

Looking at those STR's, they are a highway tire ONLY. They have lots of straight channels for water, but not many horizontal cuts for traction.
If you are planning on off-roading at all (everybody has different ideas of off-roading), then i would seriously consider upgrading to some BFG AT's, Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo's, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Toyo AT's, etc. Something with a slightly more open tread design.
Most of those manufacturers have tires in Load Range E, so you should be fine.
They will not do you any good off road, they don't like to go "off driveway". They spin in even small mud and don't do well with a load on wet grass. If you are going off the pavement at all I would recomend something else.
Another bad point is their tendency to throw and trap rocks. For the first 15,000 miles I would hear rocks clicking on the road every time I drove through gravel. They would hold until I hit about 45-50 MPH and then slam up into the wheel wells. I ended up putting mud flaps on to protect the front of the boat {and other motorists} from rock damage.
Now some good points.
They are smooth and very quiet on the highway.
They do not hydroplane and brake very well on wet pavement. Wet boat ramps are no sweat.
I have 30,000 miles on them and they look brand new. The stone throwing ceased after the first 15,000-20,000.
They are a good tire but I would not want to try even light off roading with them, thats what my 95 F-150 is for
. I have not driven them in the snow as we had a mild winter last year. I'll probably change them over in the late fall for next winter. As for you A/C, it seems like all new Fords are low on coolant from the factory. Take it to the dealer and have them check it. I had to have my whole system evacuated and refilled. It is nice and cold now
