Big Problems???
hi...
i recently purchased an 88 f150 and im changing all the fluids...well i changed my tranny fluid...(5spd) and i put in royal purple synthetic...its specially formulated for autotranny fluid 5spds...well i did that and then a couple days later...i went to go drive it and the clutch won't engage...the tranny has fluid...the clutch cylinder has fluid...i havent changed it yet so there's no need to bleed...but when i shift into gear and let out the clutch...nothing happens...the engine doesnt bog down or stall....what's wrong?????? I tried to test my ecu...because the engine light is on due to gauge replacement...(oil press. electric to mechanical)... but nothing else is showing up...this forum is first on my list to contact...but i will call a transmission shop...ford...and maybe a few buddies??? I have no idea what could be wrong....PLEASE HELP!!!!!
