front axel seals leaking

Hello, I need help. I have a 2000 V-10 4X4 Excursion that has had the typical problems. Vibrates like hell around 60 MPH, last deal comment was there was a Michelin tire out-of-round. Upper and lower ball joints replaced twice. Front hubs rebuilt. Cracked steering pump replaced. Several braking problems fixed (sort of). I was changing the oil and noticed fluid leeking from both front axels where the yoke/axel enters the shaft. Last fix in this vicinity was when the differential seals were replaced but the leaks there were at the differential then, now its out by the wheels. Anyway, can anyone diagnose this problem and give me some directions on how to go through the steps to fix it. 20 years ago in my teenage years this would occur on our ford station wagons and we would pull the axel, replace the seal, bust off and press on a new race and put it back together. It this sort of the same type of repair? Thanks...TIM

I have bad seals also. One of my inner seals (F81Z-1S175-HCA) is torn in half and both of my outer seals (F81Z-3254-CB) are in half also. Has anyone else had these seals go out?? I am changing all 4 this weekend and hopefully it fixes my auto locking hubs. I think I am loosing vacume thru the outer seals.
