I know this might seem like a dumb question but I am getting ready to install my 4" exhaust from Marko and took a look at everything before starting and in looking at the T-bolt on the Clamp at the Turbo it looks as if the nut to loosen the clamp is upside down and is almost impossible to get at to loosen it. I was hoping you or someone could tell me if it is infact a nut and what size it is? Any info would be great.
I'm trying to remember if it was a 11 or 13 MM size. You can figure out what size it is by the intercooler boots, they have the same nut holding the clamp down.
It is a nut but I don't remember what size. I found that to be the hardest part of the whole exhaust job. Knowing what I know now, after breaking the nut loose I recommend using a screwgun to remove and replace the band clamp. I could have saved 45 min if I'd have used one. Also, have a helper to hold the down pipe for you. After that it is a one man job.

The screw is on the bottom of the downpipe flange clamp?
When I bought my truck it was located on the top and never entertained any thoughts of locating it on the bottom.
If your's is mounted like that, unfortunately I cannot offer any advice other than to gain access and loosen it up fully. Use lot's of Free-All to help the clamp release once the nut is loose.
And it's either an 11mm or 13mm.
Once you get it all apart, I recommend that you flip the clamp over and put it on the top.
Thanks very much guys for the info!Yea Kwik I was kinda stunned myself? But anyhow now that I know what size the nut is its time to become a contortionist.Again thanks.
