It gives you a choice on which you want to download. 32 bit addition is 3.12 GB the 64 bit edition is 4.4 GB so I would assume their is quite a difference.

it sure seems that way, i'm a tech net member so i have been playing with them all. but this ver. is very close to being good. like i did find a few bugs ,nothing big . as to looks even my very non techie wife is saying it looks so much better , just wait till i reset the saftys dear. your going rated g veiwing. even the parental controls seem good so far.
it does take some getting used to though as in control panel you have to look closely to find thing with changed names.
carefull as some xp programs don't work with it . if you do try it use a different partion

yes dual boot so you don't have to reinstall every thing later of you don't like it.
but it sure seems ms is doing some thing for the better .
my drive is 200g so i set up a dual partition and got a new vidio card . it even works on my lap top that does not meet all the specs "vidio card " and men i love it and can't wait. just the photo editing is wonderfull alone. so clear screen shots i have not done yet but that will be shortly.
