Yeah, its not the nicest colour. I think its an old re-paint, but could be original. If anyone is interested in it enough to call, send me a PM and I'll give you dad's phone number. He can answer any questions better than Ian could.
I'm sorry what is wrong with that color. I happen to like green. By the way what is that color called anyhoo. I was going restore my econo truck back to Navaho Beige which was what it was originally. But now I'm thinking of Dynasty Green Metallic or Twilight Turquiose Metallic.(green also)
I can't help with the colour, I have absolutely no idea what it is called, or if it is even the original colour. If it isn't, it is a close match as the cab is green inside as well, and doesn't look like it's ever been painted. It's not a bad colour, its just kinda blah, and faded somewhat.
From a paint chip book I have here. For American motors who usually sold the international small trucks. The color maybe called Marina Aqua.Met. AS a new color it has a nice color texture. Faded would be a bit lighter and chalky. It looks like if a person went over it with a polishing compound would bring the color back and a good wax job afterwards to seal it. That would probally help sell the Scout II there in Man.
