a/c brackets

prior to me buying this 86 b2 someone has decided not to reinstall all the a/c compressor brackets.the only thing holding the compressor on is the main bracket in the fron that bolt onto the power steering pump. there is a small brace bolted at the rear of the compressor but nothing else.can anyone tell me what is missing? i want to get my a/c working, but once i put the belt on it will be too slexible and put srain on the lower bracket that hold power steering pump.

also,i am going to be replacing the compressor and converting to 134a/doe the drier/accumulator need to be changed also? thanks for all replies!

There is some info on conversion to R-134a. I'd have to open my hood, but I thought that the compressor mount was a sort of multi-piece setup that was hooked to the power steering bracket? If I remember right, it's mostly aluminum with steel bolts. There are 2 or 3 pivot points and whatnot for loosening and tightening the A/C belt

Info on belt replacement, etc
