clifford or offenhauser?

clifford or offenhauser?
Which company do you think makes the better intake? Right now I'm leaning towards the offenhauser as I can get it 50 bucks cheaper, but if the clifford is better, maybe it's worth the extra cost. Lemmie know what you think.

Everything I have ever heard says buy a offenhauser but I found a Clifford intake for $75 so I bought that one. I cant see anything wrong with it and I dont have the seal/vaccuum problems that I hear EVERYONE has. I think it is a matter of preference and availability. I heard a while back that Offy was on back order so how quick you need it might play a part in it. Im not going to say either is better than the other. I like my Clifford and would buy another one even if I had to pay full price, $230 or so.

I have the offy and I am more than happy with it. I can hit 60 in seven seconds, with just the intake, carb and header. I bought my intake off of ebay for 80 dollars, and got my header for 10 bucks off of a local drag racer. not trying to brag, but look around and you can find stuff cheap.

Offenhauser by far the better product, I've not had any kind of seal/vacumm problems.
They can be found on e-Bay for about the same price as if bought from a Performance Shop & usually cheaper.
