There was no way for us to answer your Quadzilla question on whether you were getting "hosed" or not. In addition, The question, was in a thread regarding a Predator issue for the original poster.

And your other question "any one ever hear of the Qadzilla Tuner ?" Was answered.

These are your only posts in the 6.0 Forum.

If your statement regards other forums I recommend you note your concerns there.

I have gotten a boat load of information from this site. Without FTE, I would not have known what an EGR value is/does/and sometimes doesn't (THANK YOU kw for your EGR knowledge). I wouldn't have my Fumoto valve or my new handy drain plug to ease the pain of changing fluids without this site. Think of all the 6.0's running around, and how many don't know what a TSB is, and this site has helped so many talk intellegantly with the dealer. I print them all out and file them away for a rainy day. I have even used the regular Super Duty forum to find a fix for a piece of window trim that kept falling off.

I have been on other sites and when there are a lot of problems, there are lot of postings. And similarly to here, recalls and gained dealer intellegence with a new product reduces the problems, and hence later reduce the posts. And I see that here. And hey, people come and go only as long as they keep their truck. Let's face it, the newer 6.0's have less problems, and therefore maybe less people now are looking for a site to help them fix a problem. IMO

ok guys I am not angry, my glass is not half full and a crummy is a 4 door truck used to transport loggers, (which I used to be) from a general parking location to your logging operation.
With that said, of the 57 posts that I did, most were not answered or if they were, It was the moderator hoping someone else would chime in. Site has some good reading, some useful info, but had mainly become a complaint site.

Thanks Rob

Seems to me that every forum I've ever seen has been very simlar to this one. Lot's of good info, some banter, some disgruntled folks, and the inevitable conflicts. Check out http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/index.htm for some great forum personalities, and keep on truckin'....

have reviewed many of reel_scream's 57 posts. Many questions were answered, some were not. As with many users, a forum search could have provided much of the information they were seeking.
One thing about this search thing. When you need an answer, you usually have to try searching a few times. Well, the search limits you to one search ever 30 seconds. I think thats ridiculous (though i am certain there is a good reason). Many new posters probably do a search, try to search again and can't, so they just post a question anyway.

ag-ford-4x4, I just performed 3 searches within about 15 seconds with no issues. Maybe because I have mod previliges...not sure.

I do know that the other site you frequent has search restrictions though.

Hey to change the topic to something not so lame....

My city mpg gas held at a steady 17mpg/city (mixed highway and city) now for 3 weeks (3 tanks of full) since my most recent re-flash under recall (2003 6.0L motor).

So far so good!!!

Thinking I will have dealer flush my rear-end (the trucks differential that is) when I have my tranny done in a few weeks/miles. Even the though the manual says +100,000 miles, I will do prior to 80,000 miles.

Any big plans this weekend?

A lot of good replies, just within this thread. I'll add my two cents...

Having frequented various Mopar/Dodge & Toyota Land Cruiser forums over the past 4-5 years, I can say that, in my opinion, this forum is no different than the others.

I wholeheartedly agree that not all posts get answered. Some posts get shuffled to the back by being posted during off-peak hours/days. Other posts just aren't very answerable; as much as we would like to answer everyones ' questions there are some that just don't have any clear cut answer(s). I'm not really sure why I typed all that out when KW5413 made the same points, quite elegantly I might add, in his first reply to this thread

As for all of the complaint/problem posts, that is just pure human nature. We tend to be all too willing to make a thread concerning some problem we've encountered, but it isn't too often that we'll come back to the same forum/board & post something along the lines of "everything is working beautifully".

If memory serves me correctly, I believe that the time limitation for forum searches is only levied on non-supporters.

Along those same lines I don't like the fact that if you're not logged in it kicks you off the site after a few visits to the forums. Sometimes it's nice to get a minute at work and just see what's going on out here without having to log on.....I don't feel bad just popping in for a quick look but logging on to a board from work doesn't sit good.
