Now the next question is...does the guy sitting in the seat really think he's going to back up and out of his situation??

1st thing I would do after getting everything back on the road (and changing my shorts); send a thank-you note to the hitch, ball and trailer manufacturers!

This picture has been around the boating trailer forums for several years. The story is, he pulled off the hway to let people pass and the right tires hit the soft shoulder and they get pulled off the road.

I saw a near miss like this in west Texas. A 6x12 enclosed Uhaul, which is a decent sized trailer was hitched to a JEEP LIBERTY lost it going down a 7% grade. You could see the skid marks & smell the burning rubber the accident was so recent--the people were standing around the car still Fortunately, the car stopped before going off the road and no one appeared to be hurt, but man, what an idiot for trying that load. I think the seat covers were probably ruined though

I guess people really do get their brains & the cars on the same day in some cases.
