Question F150 Gear shift slipping

Hi; I'm new to your site and would welcome any advice to help me.

My gear shifter on my F150 with overdrive seems to be lose when engagining the transmission. Does anyone have advice on how to troubleshoot this problem? I checked the fluid level and it looks ok. I'm trying to determine if this is normal for a vehicle with 120,000 plus miles. It's not making any noise.

Many Thanks

Eli

Start over and re-describe the fault. The original post doesn't make any sense...
