4r100 Trans Gasket
Who makes the best gasket for the 4r100 I hate leaks. When I changed the fluid someone said the stock gasket is lifetime. Well it leaks bad.. Maybe I should get a new ford unit?

90% of the time fault is not with the gasket.
Make sure the pan rail is flat.
Place the pan upside down on the bench and look between the rail and bench. If you see any daylight make it flat.
Hammer the bolt holes down.
Do not use any grease or glue on the gasket.
Tighten the bolts carefuly. Overtightening is as bad as undertightening.
Both surfaces must be clean and oil free.
