transmission problems

I have a light that keeps blinking on the over drive and i don't know what to do this is on a 1999 ford f250 pickup may some body can help. Thanks

The flashing OD likght means that there is something wrong with the transmission. You need to take it to someone with a Ford specific code reader, not the generic ones that parts stores will read codes for free. The generic readers won't read the Ford transmission codes. Once you have the code we can help diagnose what's wrong.
