302 to 300

i just got a 300 six and decided to drop it into my bronco since my 351 isn't done yet. so what will i need to successfully complete the swap, i should have engine mounts, and i need to fab an exhaust anyways,bellhousings and clutch are the same, etc. maybe i can make it to the 4wheeling meet in estes park next month!

Well, you could, but you would have to scrap the exhaust when the 351 goes in.
I think you have to use a throttle cable from a 300I6 truck.

Is it a carbed 300? I'm running a motorcraft 2bbl off a 302 on a stock manifold with an adapter. It uses the same throttle cable as the 1bbl carb did, I just had to fab a new cable mount to because the linkage is turned 90 degrees from the 1bbl carb. 2bbl motorcraft and a duraspark II swap and the I-6 will really come to life. Just be sure you get it bolted in there good... the biggest problem I have with mine is that it chews up trans brackets and drivers side motor mounts. The motor torques and twists a lot, and it's came loose in there a couple of times.
