Just wondering if anybody has used them and if there is any benifit to them. Are they worth the 250 dollars most of the companys want for them.

I imagine their powdercoating might insulate the cold side a little better, but assuming a similar shape and same diameter I can't see how they would be of any major benefit...other than looking cool. That does count for something.

They help a lot if you are having problems with the intercooler boots sliding off.
We don't charge that much, check them out here

I don't know what year your truck is but, here is what I found on my '02....I put a complete Banks Powerpack on my truck (was going to do a stinger-plus but decided to include the Banks intercooler also). The tubes were NOT any larger than my stock ones and the intercooler inlet and outlet were also the same size. There may be some advantage to the intercooler but, I don't believe it is much. I wish I'd saved the money, I feel the stock intercooler setup on my '02 was plenty. Now I have a nice stock intercooler so sell.
My .02 worth.
