New F250 Owner would like system advice

I've installed MANY systems in my own and friends cars. I've even competed in IASCA with self-installed systems (very successfully) but I wanted you "truck experienced" individuals to make sure my plan of attack doesn't have any gaping holes in it.
F250 PSD, Crew Cab, without the electric rear window.
I have MB Quart components already mounted in plates that came out of my 2000 explorer front/rear doors. Hopefully those will fit in the stock front doors, rear panel of the 250. Hard to tell what size those rear speakers are, but I'll search for that answer.
I have a JL Audio Monoblock e1400D sub amp and a JL 300/4 A/B amp for the mids/tweets. I have a single 10" JL W3 sub. I'm planning to mount the amps behind the rear seats where hopefully there will be enough ventilation. Looks like there is plenty of room for them there.
I see many mount the subs in a flat enclosure under the rear sets. I'm just not convinced that is a good idea, soundwise. I was considering building an enclosure that would sit behind the front center console in the middle of the back seat and make it removable if I wanted the whole seat for some reason. I could do a more conventional box design then and if I had to drag it out, it wouldn't be a big deal. Any tried this and if so how did it sound? I'm an old guy so I'm not looking for 160dB. I just want good, solid, musical bass extension. I'm fanatical enough to RTA the system when I'm done to get a nice smooth frequency response.
I also have an Alpine CDA-9853 going in the dash. What are the best installation adapters for our trucks?
Are there any hints/trick anyone could pass along as far as wire routing or interior disassembly? Any labor-saving advice would be appreciated!
