Start up stumble?

Start up stumble?
I have been noticing a loud .....knock,chater,clink...sound at start up. I am not sure how to discribe it, like valves knocking just as the motor fires up. Then, today, it stumbled at the fire up point. New filter, clean fuel bowl. I do have a blue CPS that I put in a month or so ago, hope this is not the cause!
