E350 rear discs

E350 rear discs
Hi
I guess I finally need to post and quit lurking. I believe in 1999 E350s came with disc brakes on the rear axle. Does anyone know if they just added discs to the Dana 60 or did they introduce a new different axle.
I have a possible line on a newer axle with the discs and am wondering if it still is a Dana 60 and if I could just change the discs over to my Dana 60 or if I need to change the entire rear end.
I also believe they raised the GVW when they introcuced rear discs.
