what tailgates will interchange between 67-79.lookin for one for my 67 f100.

Hi Chris,
For a flareside, 1953-72 will interchange. For a Styleside, 1967-72 will interchange. The 1973-79 tailgates are a whole different animal.

67-72 can be interchanged with 73-79 but there are slight bodyline differences.

Try to holdout for a '67 - '72 tailgate. A '73 - '79 gate will look kinda funny IMO.

tailgates
my 78 has a 67-72 tailgate on it and the handle opens to the side instead of up. i like it better and when i get the right tailgate im going to try and put that latch on the new one
