will this work???

i have a chance to get a set of 428cj heads. will these heads work on my 1976 360???all i know about the heads are they were for before unleaded gas, so i think i can have hardened seats installed on thes heads. also will the stock push rods work or would i need to get new ones, or special length rods??

From what I have read, if they truly are CJ heads, then the valves will hit the block. Plus, the ports are huge, good for horsepower and high rpm use, but it'll put a pretty decent dent in your torque. You'ld be better off with a set of properly ported D2TE heads, those already have hardened seats.
