What Are Common Problem Areas?

Trying to get an idea what some of the most common problems are with the Bronco II as far as needing replacement parts for. I have a local junkyard that has pretty many B2s and have gotten a few spare parts but don't know what may be the best things to have around in case.
I have gotten brake calipers, front Auto hubs, and several other misc parts.
Someone told me that the transfer case motors (actuator?) are prone to failure. True?
Thanks for any ideas. That's a good spare time way spend a day, I guess.

Actuator is good if you have push button four wheel drive. 2.9 heads, if the engine overheats, they will surely crack.

If you have a 2.9 keep your eye open for cooling system components as the 2.9 has a strong dislike for heat also as mentioned above a set of heads would be handy to have since they are prone to failure.

The front axle shafts are good to have as replacements. Get the manual hubs and a manual transfer case.

I'll second that. Also, if you have the crappy CV style driveshaft, either a spare or a double cardan style shaft would be a great idea.

For a replacement radiator, you might wanna see if there are any early Explorers at the yard. They have a larger/better radiator.

Radiator idea would be to find a double-, or better yet, a TRIPLE-core out of an Explorer, Ranger, Navajo, or similar. If you find one, though, I would suggest either swapping tanks from your original to the replacement or having it done by a shop... although people have claimed to have used Explorer or flex hoses and made it work.
