91 lost power too......

91 lost power too......
my daughters 91 f-150 4x4 has lost power too its headlights,tail lights,horn and radio.replaced light switch, checked dimmer switch.must be bad wire,fusable link?any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

with very limited electrical experience i traced the continuous hot wire(showing black\orange on 91'wiring diagram)from light switch to fusebox.it isn't hot at all.from back of fuse box i jumped from another hotwire and the lights worked thru the switch.do i need to be looking at my light switch plug harness for shorts or fuse links?
