levelling kit
Hey has anybody done any of the levelling kits available for the new (04-06) 4x4's? I think I'm about to get one and want to know what's involved in installing one of these kits. The new coilover is awesome, but it still needs a little lift to get just the right look and clearance. thanks

What's involved to install the Bilsteins? Is it more difficult than the spacers and will it change the ride much?
I don't mind firming up the ride but I just switched from an FX/4 to a Mark LT (a little too soft) but don't want the ride to get too unbalanced front to rear.

Check Out My Gallery, I Just Installed The 3 Inch Skyjacker Suspension Lift And Put On 285-65r-18 Bfg At Ko's On The Stock King Ranch Rims. I Love The Lift, Looks Just Right And Rides Awesome.

I have not done it but from what I understand the spacers do firm up the ride quality while the bilsteins keep the factory ride quality intact.
About the install they're comparable in difficulty, 1-2 hours.

Does anybody know if that price for the bilstiens in the link is just for one shock or is it for the front set? I believe the linked site said $146 which would be a good deal for two, but if it's just for one I found some on ebay for around $270. Thanks for the help.

Sure thing. I got the skyjacker 3" on now, and I am not impressed with the performance. Hopefully these bilsteins will work better. I have yet to hear from anyone who has them, but they can't be any worse than the skyjacker lift.
